I am 19 years old, born and raised in Shahabad Markanda ,Haryana , and currently living in New Delhi, India
Thought my emphasis was in Drawing and Painting, I took many photography classes which turned my art towards a more gritty, realistic direction. Pictures of street signs, swap meets and rock quarries provided stronger inspiration.
Where others see soulless architecture and drab surroundings, I try to see interesting shapes and angles, interplay of light and shadow, juxtapositions of images and themes.

Learned that it is not necessary to tour the seven seas to click a good photograph. You just need to have an eye to capture that unique moment, as it happens, or else you will miss out on the opportunity. Although he has never fully understood the nuances of photography, Raghav says that he has always believed that there is much more to a photograph than that which meets the eye.
To photograph truthfully and effectively, one has to see beneath the surfaces and record the qualities of nature and humanity living or latent in all things. He has learned to see the vivid colors of life through the lens of his camera.
